Tired of doing what you're supposed to do instead of what you want to do? Tired of listening to your head instead of your heart? To others instead of yourself?
Join us for "Monday Night at the Movies" at the historic Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff. We're showing the melodramas of Douglas Sirk and Rainer Werner Fassbinder, the way they were meant to be seen: on the big screen.
The screening is free, but a ticket is required.
It'll be a fun way to spend your Monday night: grab a cocktail at the Texas Theatre's fabulous bar, get some popcorn, watch a great film, and then join us for a post-screening discussion. And did we mention that the ticket's free?
On Monday, May 16, we'll be showing our final film: Fassbinder's In a Year with 13 Moons. The screening starts at 7:30 pm. All the details, plus Peter's take on the art of the melodrama are here.
